Senior Training Sessions
Senior teams have been busy preparing for the upcoming season. Numbers have been pleasing, with players showing their commitment to getting fit for another successful year.
Due to the hotter weather last week the players enjoyed a beach session down at South Beach, involving players with some running, team games and swimming.
Demons Women's Football Team
Last Friday night the Demons Senior Women's side played their first game at Crystal Brook in the Mid North Women's Football Comp. Coach Nick Rendell and the players were keen to get their first game under their belt and see where they stood against the other sides. The 12 a-side teams play 4X15 min quarters, and the season lasts until the end of March. It was a very even game against a Westies side from Port Augusta. After being 3 goals down at the first break, and with some great pressure and some key positional changes being made, in the end the Demons came out on top winning by 5 points! This first game showed that we will be competitive in the comp. The team was extremely happy with the win, and all involved in supporting them were very proud of their efforts. It was a promising start. Scores were Demons 9.6 to Westies 8.7.

This is a reminder to all who are connected to the Club that there is a Working Bee being held at the Club/Oval next Sunday 26t February. It starts at 8:30am. There will be a free BBQ for workers afterwards. There are heaps of jobs to be done to set things up for the 2023 Season. Trial Games March 18th. at Uraidla
This year it is our turn to travel to Uraidla to play in four trial games. This will be a big day for the Club having our Junior and Senior Colts, B's and A's having a hit out. This is our only Trial game before the season starts on April 1st. Having as many supporters there as possible to cheer us on would be great.'
